Art & File Specifications:

Accepted File Formats*

Adobe Illustrator CS3 (or lower) – EPS, AI, PDF files with fonts turned to outlines
Adobe Photoshop CS3 (or lower) – PSD (layered, if possible), TIFF, EPS, JPEG files at 300dpi or higher
Adobe InDesign CS3 (or lower) – provide all linked images and fonts used

*Though not recommended, we can also accept Corel Draw 10 (or lower), Macromedia Freehand MX (or lower), Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, QuarkXPress 6.0 or lower (all fonts and linked images must be provided) and Adobe Pagemaker (all fonts and linked images must be provided).

Bleeds: The background of all items must extend beyond the document size by 0.1” for cutting. To ensure that no text or important graphics are cut off during the trimming process, leave a -0.1” bleed inside of the document size.

Design Services: If you prefer, we can design your custom piece for you. Simply provide us with the basic information, any photos or images you’d like us to use, logo specifications and/or additional information and we will customize your piece for you. Proofs will be provided.

General Guidelines:

When sending art via e-mail, please include the company/organization name, a contact name, contact e-mail addess, phone number and reference to what product is being produced. If you have your order number, please include this although this is not required. We will confirm receipt of your artwork within 1-2 business days.
When sending files containing fonts, please convert all text to paths or outlines, or send both the printer and screen font files.
Vector-based graphic files are preferred. Raster-based images are accepted at reasonably high resolutions: 300 dpi for magnets and other full color/digitally printed items (mailers/postcards/etc.).
Our full color items are digitally printed. Please do NOT send color separations, films or transparencies. Digital files work best, but we can also scan a color comp. or photograph. If scanned item is not print quality, we may redraw portions of your artwork for best quality imprint.
For digitally printed/full color items, all PMS colors are replaced with their closest CMYK equivalents. Halftones/gradients acceptable.
